The South County Community Handbell Choir and local handbell musicians will once again be providing free holiday music at the Outlets at San Clemente on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28th. Please join us for the concert and if you would like to ring, please contact us or you can register at https://forms.gle/LsNmAyoizf7tb5DA7.
Our holiday events include performance at San Clemente's Santa's Village by the Sea on December 5, 2026 (at the Community Center) and our benefit concert for Family Assistance Ministries on December 13, 2026, 3:00 pm, at San Clemente's historic Casino. Our theme this year is ringing with St. Nick & the Angels. You can get free tickets at buytickets.at/southcountycommunityhandbellchoir/243755.
The Handbell Ringing Class is going quite well and we will be offering the class again starting in January. You do not have to be a resident to take the class.

For those that like to plan ahead. South County's 2027 Summer Workshops will be very special. Handbells Soar will consist of a director's workshop on Friday, July 16th, and a ringer's workshop on Saturday, July 17th. These events will be on the campus of Concordia University, Irvine (CUI) and Nick Hanson will be the clinician. In addition, in conjunction with CUI South County is sponsoring a concert to honor Nancy Jessup and Herb Geisler on July 17th. For our friends in San Diego County, we will have a ringer's workshop on Saturday, July 31st at San Luis Rey Valley United Methodist Church. Erik Der will be the clinician. See the Handbells Soar Tab for details.
